Delete Your Account

How to permanently delete your Trainioapp account and associated data.

At Trainioapp, you are in control of your data. You can request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing our support team.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

1. Open Trainioapp on your device and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
3. Tap Settings (gear icon).
4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm the action when prompted.

Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the app, send an email from the address registered on your account to:

We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.

What data is deleted

The following personal data is permanently removed when you delete your account:

• Name, email address, phone number, and date of birth
• Profile information, bio, fitness goals, and preferences
• Profile photos and any photos shared in chat
• Location data and travel-radius preferences
• Messages, matches, likes, and bookings tied to your account
• Device identifiers used for push notifications
• Authentication credentials (password hashes, OAuth tokens)

What data may be retained

For legal, fraud-prevention, and accounting reasons we may retain a limited set of records after account deletion:

• Transaction records — receipts and subscription history are retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.
• Safety records — if your account was reported or banned for safety reasons, we may retain a minimal record (user ID and reason) to prevent re-registration.
• Anonymised analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

All retained data is stored securely and is not used for marketing or profiling.

Deleting specific data without closing your account

You can also delete individual items without closing your account:

• Remove a profile photo from Profile → Edit Profile.
• Delete a chat from the Messages tab.
• Cancel a booking from the Bookings tab.
• Update or clear your bio and goals from Edit Profile.
